Mary Fridley – Health, Healing, Wellness

A long-time community builder, performance activist, group therapist and passionate developmentalist, Mary Fridley is on the faculty at the East Side Institute in NYC, where she co-created and leads The Joy of Dementia (You Gotta Be Kidding!) and co-founder and coordinator of Reimagining Dementia: A Creative Coalition for Justice, an international effort to creatively transform the “tragedy narrative” of dementia.

At a time when despair, loneliness and anxiety – not to mention a failing health care system – are impacting on the health of people across the globe, the need for humanity to join together in creating environments where health, healing and wellness is inseparable from creating conversation and community.

Please join us in exploring how people of all ages, cognitive/physical abilities and walks of life can come, and are coming, together “on the ground” to create new and more radical humanising new ways of promoting health, wellness and growth that meet the needs of OUR families and communities.
